Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data shown in the comments form, along with the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help with spam detection.

An anonymized string (hash) created from your email address may be shared with the Gravatar service to check if you use it. Gravatar’s privacy policy can be found here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. Once your comment is approved, your profile picture is visible to the public alongside your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, please avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Other visitors can download and extract location data from images on the site.

We use cookies to improve your experience and to understand how our site is used. You may opt to disable cookies in your browser, but some features may not function as expected.

  • If you leave a comment, you may opt-in to save your name, email, and website in cookies for convenience. These cookies last for one year.

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content behaves exactly as if you visited the external website.

We do not sell or rent your personal information. If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email. If you have an account or have left comments, you can request an exported file of the personal data we hold about you. You can also request deletion of your personal data, excluding data we are required to keep for legal, administrative, or security purposes.
